The Registry's terms
Terms of sale
Last updated 4 November 2026
These terms apply when you buy from the Astral Registry at astralregistry.com. Please read them before you order. If anything is unclear, write to the Keepers at keepers@astralregistry.com.
1. What you are buying
Every Astral Registry product is a fictional novelty keepsake. A certificate, registry number, coordinates and parcel convey no legal property rights, no interest in any real or celestial body, and no claim recognised by any court or government. The parcel exists only within the Astral Registry and its game.
- Collector Pack: a personalised, printed keepsake pack posted to a UK address, with a digital certificate and access to the game.
- Digital Pack: personalised digital files (a print-at-home certificate and a Keeper's letter), a digital certificate and access to the game. Nothing is posted.
- Live experience add-on: 6 months of extra live access, bought once at checkout.
2. Who can buy
We sell to buyers in the United Kingdomonly. Your billing address must be in the UK and your card must be issued in the UK. If an order doesn't meet these conditions we will refund it in full and it will not be fulfilled. You must be 18 or over to buy.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay; UK delivery is included in the Collector Pack price. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place the order. Your contract with us is formed when we confirm your order by email.
4. Delivery (Collector Pack)
We deliver to UK addresses only, excluding the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. Packs are made to order and normally leave the Registry within 3days by Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you choose an arrive-by date we post the pack to land on or shortly before it; delivery dates are estimates and we are not responsible for delays in the post outside our control. If a pack hasn't arrived within 10 days of dispatch, tell us and we will trace it or send a replacement.
5. Digital files and scheduled emails (Digital Pack)
The certificate and letter files are available to download as soon as payment is confirmed, and are also emailed to you. If you ask us to email the recipient on a chosen date, we send that email on the morning of that date (UK time). Please make sure the address is right; you are responsible for having the recipient's permission to give us their email address.
6. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Two exceptions apply to our products:
- Personalised goods. The Collector Pack is made to your specification and clearly personalised (the recipient's name, your message, the chosen parcel), so the right to cancel does not apply to it once ordered.
- Digital content. At checkout you ask us to supply digital content (the digital certificate, the files and live access) straight away, and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once supply begins. Supply begins when payment is confirmed.
If you've made a mistake, contact us as soon as possible. We'll always try to help if the pack hasn't been made yet.
7. If something is wrong
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a pack arrives damaged or faulty, or doesn't match what you ordered, or the digital files are faulty, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it. Please include your registry number and, for damage, a photo.
8. The live experience
Every gift includes 3 months of the live experience, plus any add-on months bought at checkout. The period starts on the day the recipient claims the gift, not the day of purchase. The add-on is a single payment: it is not a subscription and nothing renews.
During the live period the recipient can collect daily shards, buy and place estate decorations, solve riddles, find and name hidden cabinets, and appear on the seasonal Ledger. When it ends, those features lock and the estate is frozen as it stands. The parcel itself, walking the realms, the Journal, relics, outfits, visiting others and Eternal Ledger entries remain available for as long as we operate the Registry. We send a reminder 14 days and 3 days before the period ends.
The game is a service we keep improving. We may change, add or retire game content, realms and features, but we won't take away a parcel or a feature listed as free forever. If we ever had to close the Registry we would give holders reasonable notice by email.
9. Fair play
Accounts are passwordless and protected by codes sent to the holder's email and phone; please keep them secure. Don't use automation, exploits or more than one account to gain shards, scores or cabinet names. We may remove scores or names that break these rules and, for serious or repeated abuse, suspend live features. Players can't send each other free text; gestures, beacons and names come from fixed word lists.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
